Have you tried this?

Speed Cleaning

"Clean your entire house in 42 minutes with the Clean Team's unbeatable system that makes every move count."

Tonight at Enrichment, we learned about this speedy-delivery cleaning method. I'm curious, have any of you tried this before? I'm thinking I'll have to check it out from the library and take it for a spin....

It's all about using my time wisely. I am already converted to the speed cooking way of life. It's called "Slow Cooker"! Throw everything in first thing in the morning and life is wonderful by the time dinner rolls around! We have the 1:00-4:00 church block this new year. By the time we get home at 4:30 or 4:45, we're all starving. My new plan of attack is to make a crock pot meal every Sunday morning. So far, so good. For the last two Sundays I made Italian Chicken and Chicken Cacciatore. Next I want to try a roast. If you have any favorite slow cooker recipes. Please send them my way. Our tummies will thank you!

My favorite roast beef recipe: Season roast well with kosher salt and fresh-ground pepper; brown on all sides in frying pan. Place in crock-pot and top with a packet of dry onion soup and 2 cups water, cook on low all day.

This is so easy and SO good, and the leftovers make delicious french-dip sandwiches; strain the juices from the crock-pot for au jus.

I've been doing crockpot dinners too. We have church 2-5! So I'd love your recipes. I have a great cookbook too, we'll have to swap.

Best Beef Dip Ever

Ingredients:
4 pounds beef chuck roast
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
3 bay leaves
1 cup soy sauce
4-6 cups water
Directions:
1. Place roast in slow cooker. Season with garlic, rosemary, and bay leaves. Pour in soy sauce and water. Cook on low setting for 6 to 10 hours. Unlike most roasts, the longer the better.

My notes: I don't use all the soy sauce (1/2 cup) , and I use a little beef broth. Try to get a roast that isn't fatty. We love this meal. Oh, don't forget to buy some crusty rolls.
