Happy Mother's Day!

Justin told me a while back that he had been working at school on a surprise for me for Mother's Day. This morning I got to open his package wrapped with paper painted with a spray bottle. He painted a picture of a pink dogwood tree and a poem.

My Special Mother

My mother is the most wonderful mother in the whole world! She is as pretty as spring flowers. She weighs like 60 pounds and I'm 3 so I think she's maybe 6 feet tall. Her favorite food is black licorice. She has a whole box for herself. Her favorite color is green. In the good old days, when my Mom was little, she used to open up a window and go, "Ooh, aah" at the thunderstorm. I think Mom looks funny when she jumped on the trampoline and she fell off. I wish my Mom would be with me alone every day. I wouldn't trade my mother for Dad!

Happy Mother's Day!
Love, Justin

Sooooooooooooo adorable. What a cute kid. Warren always loves Justin's random comments in class. Yesterday Warren mentioned a stormy sea and Justin started to tell him about how Hurricanes form in warm spots of the ocean near the equator . . .
That kid is smart!

That is so great! And I have to side with Justin on the Tramp...I would let out a little giggle (just a little one) when you fell off the tramp. But then I would help you up.

That is the cutest note EVER! You do weigh 60 pounds, DON'T YOU! =) Every time I see panda black licorice I think of you and smile. I do the same about thunderstorms....but I don't smile-I am usually clutching blankets and hiding my eyes!

Oh my goodness! What a great letter. Justin is just reflecting how fun you are -- all 60 pounds of you. :) You two are lucky to have each other . . . such a fun pair!
