Playtime with Allie

Here are some pictures from our week:

Allie loves to line up her toys.  On the table, on the floor, down the hallway.  She loves to do that.  She also likes to line up her crayons.

When a girl builds the roads:  "Mommy, look at mine balentime (valentine) heart!"

Well, hello there!

Pack Meeting Awards

Tonight at pack meeting, the boys built bridges with toothpicks and marshmallows.  After all the fun, Travis handed out all the awards the boys had earned during the past month.  Justin received his Arrow of Light award and Tyler received his Bobcat award.  I love that I earn the "Mom pin" when the boys earn their awards.  Though, I think it should be a Mom AND Dad pin since we all had fun doing it together.

Planting Flowers

I love springtime and working in the yard.  Planting flowers is so relaxing to me.  I love to see them bloom throughout the season.  Even seeing my progress with weeding is rewarding.  My new favorite thing is to plant flowers that will come back again next year.  All that hard work can be enjoyed for years to come.  Today I planted some Princess Lilies.  they are so dainty and cheery in the pots on our front porch.  I also love my happy helpers, Allie and Tyler.

Seussical the Musical

Tonight, the entire 2nd grade put on a fun musical production of "The Seussical".  Tyler did such a great job singing and dancing with his classmates.  They all worked so hard to learn all the words and actions.  It was so much fun to watch Tyler perform.  Way to go, Buddy!

Spring Carnival

On our way into the spring carnival at the elementary school, we stopped to see a police motorcycle.  Tyler and Allie got to pick a prize of a magnet and pencil.  But the best part was to pretend Tyler was riding the motorcycle.  So fun!

My Dancing Princess

Allie was such a cute little dancer today.  She even got the only high-five from her teacher because this was the first day she danced all by herself for the entire time without my help.  It was so fun to see her gain confidence participating with her class.  She had such a big smile on her face when I walked in the room to pick her up.  Way to go, Allie!

To the bus stop we go!

Allie loves to join the boys and neighbor friend, Robert, on the way to the school bus in the morning.  She gets all ready with her backpack.  Smiles all the way there and back!
