For Sale

Yes, it's true. We have officially outgrown our home after nearly 10 years (in March) and three kids. Travis and I moved in when it was just the two of us and our few belongings didn't even come close to filling up our cute house. Now we're ready for something a little bit bigger. Our house is for sale and we are planning to move somewhere nearby. We have been so spoiled living so close to Travis' work. I think it would be quite the adjustment to get used to a commute. We'll see where we end up. It's like a treasure hunt!

The past two months have been a whirlwind of getting our home ready to list. Hopefully I'll have more time now for blogging. I just downloaded the pictures on my camera last night from the middle of August. Wowsers.

Here is a link to our listing:

We hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving this week!

And we missed you yet again on a trip out here. :( So sad... I am not sure to tell you I am happy you are moving or sad... It always feels like a bittersweet moment. Leaving a house with memories, or the excitement of a new one waiting to be filled. Im sure the space will be nice. I think your children are just beautiful... especially your little delicious Allie. Seriously. Edible. Hope you are well. I think highly of you friend, even if the visits few and far between.

Good luck with the house hunt and the sale! It's an interesting process with kids, as most things are. But I'm sure you'll find your dream home!

If you have a second (no hurry), could you email me the website you used to print your blog? I know you gave me the info once before, but of course I've lost it. My email is lizwillard@hotmail.com. Thanks!!

Good luck with selling. You have a beautiful home, I'm sure someone will fall in love with it! You have it perfectly staged and perfectly clean in the pictures, I would buy it in a heartbeat!

Thanks for the nice comments! Kari, you hit it right on the button...lots of mixed feelings about this move. I promise our house has never looked so put together. More than half of our stuff is in the garage now in hilarious stacks. Travis has been a trooper trying to organize it. We feel like we're living out of suitcases. The great news is that we have accepted an offer and we will sign on Valentine's Day. Now comes the frantic, fun part of looking for a new house. Here's to hoping we only have to move once!

OH my goodness! I missed this post! I am having an emotional day already, but this made me cry. I remember that empty house when you two first moved in. I remember big purchases like your couches, picking out paint colors, and buying your red bedding together. Wow, doesn't that seem like just yesterday. Time flies! I can't wait to hear about the new home you find! Best of luck to you. (We keep talking about listing our home...we shall see!)
