We just found out we are having a GIRL!
It's true! We are all so excited! The doctor said she looks healthy and is right where she should be now at 18 weeks as far as development goes. That's what we have been praying for. It was fun to see her moving and opening and closing her lips. I am feeling more movement now, but I have just been feeling a bump here and there. It was great to see how active she really is. We got some good ultrasound pictures and I'll add one to this post as soon as I scan our copies.
This morning, Justin was so happy. He just kept saying how excited he was to find out if we're having a boy or a girl. Before my appointment this morning, we dropped off the boys to play with their cousins at Travis' sister's home in Vancouver. On the way, I said, "This is just like Christmas!" Justin said, "Yeah, this is like a TRIPLE Christmas!" He was just busting at the seams.
When we arrived to pick them up, I said, "Guess what? You are going to have a sister! We found out it's a girl!" Justin smiled and said, "Finally!" Tyler gave a surprised look and fell dramatically to the floor. :) They are both so excited! I'm sure they will be the greatest big brothers in the world.
Lol! I just can't stop thinking about her!

I wanted a girl for you soo badly. Maybe because you've mentioned wanting one, maybe because that would make it a little different, maybe because it gives me hope that someday I might have a boy, or maybe I can just make you cute girly things. Can I start yet? Can I make little bows for her head or burp cloths or something? YEAY Kayelynn. I am so excited for you.

Tears are coming. I am so excited for you. I would have been this excited if it was going to be a boy too! The reactions were the cutest! They are going to be the best big brothers to this little sweetie!
Get ready for ruffles....and bows....and flowers....and pink....and princesses....and crowns...and all the fun that goes with those things! (The amount of toys in your home is going to double...just FYI.)
Hurray! I wouldn't know but it's got to be fun to experience both boys and girls. And I just happen to love having little girls and all things pink...and the enormous feelings and emotions that come in those tiny little bundles! Congrats!

Couldn't be happier for you! Makes all your sickness worth it (well it helps anyway!) Your family is going to LOVE having a little princess. Having both boys and girls adds so much more to the family dynamic. CONGRATS! I can't wait to tell Randy, he'll be so excited for you and Travis.

I am so happy for you guys! Two boys and then a girl is definitely the way to go! Having a girl will be so much fun, Kayelynn....you thought shopping was fun before!! It takes a lot of self control with a baby girl!!! :) YAY!!!!! I can't wait to see her!!!!
