Pre-Thanksgiving Fun
Grandpa Davis taught the boys how to make pumpkin pies. They loved it!

I was looking forward to this trip for lots of reasons. But topping the list for me was to bat my eyes at these cute baby boys. Jared & Shannon's Tian and Heidi & Joe's Jonathan were born just a week apart in July.

Their moms were fun to talk to, too! We enjoyed game nights with the adults and even a girls' night (Twilight) movie night. Mom and Tawnya hadn't seen it yet...yes, apparently they have been living under a rock for the past year. :) We had a good old time!
Thanksgiving Day
Here are the kiddos horsing around in the backyard with Aunt Tawnya while the food is being magically prepared inside the house.

My cute Mom:

My Gourmet Dad and Heidi

Heidi and Joe moved back to Utah from Texas the day before we arrived. They're staying with G & G, so we had a fun time hangin' with them for Thanksgiving. We hadn't seen them in a year and a half. It was great to hold their sweet baby. I gobbled him up! Tyler just loved him!
Here's Tyler (4 years old) and Heidi and Joe's baby Jonathan (4 months old). "He's holding onto me, do I have to hold onto him, too?"

Jolley Family Christmas Party
We had a fun-packed day playing group games, writing notes to our 3 family missionaries, eating, cheering Shawn & Jessie on at their Wedding "Grocery" Shower and last, but not least, an impromptu talent show. So glad we were in town for all the hoopla!
Speaking of group games...here's Tyler "Santa's Elf" and Dad "The toy bench":

Tyler's expression cracks me up! He was so happy to hammer away on Travis!
Below is Justin (on the end) in the "finals" for the pairs game...he makes a great Santa with his Uncle Jared as rudolph! (Heidi's husband, Joe, is the Santa on the far left.)

More games: I had to catch Tawnya sitting on her honey's (Santa's) lap (Joe, Dan and Tawnya)

Cute Josh! (Heidi's)

Here's Tian and Shannon:

We compared pictures of Tian with pictures of his dad, my brother, Jared, at the same age. They are little twinners! Like father, like son! I love it!
We had a fabulous trip although it was over before we knew it! We didn't even get a chance to meet up with friends while we were in town! Sorry guys! We still love you and look forward to seeing everyone again soon! We don't know when...but hopefully it will be sooner than later.

Oh, I didnt even know you were here. I am glad you had a lovely time. Its so much fun to see families grow! I think we appreciate them so much more the older we get.
Don't worry, nobody else knew we were there either! :) I did think about calling you guys, but our weekend just flew by and was all scheduled before we even arrived in town. We ran out of time! Whew! We need another vacation to Utah just to see friends!
Your family looks so great! Loved the pics and I'm glad you had a fabulous Thanksgiving. And, I too live under a rock -- no Twilight for me, either. Maybe someday . . . Wish you were coming out for Christmas! Miss you!
Wow! I'm impressed! You summed up the Thanksgiving festivities quite well! It was so fun to spend time with you and the rest of the family! Holidays are fabulous!
Thanks for posting pics and updates...it was fun to see the Jolley Christmas party. I think I've only ever made it to a couple of those in all my years...sad! It was fun to catch a couple updates--like Shawn is getting married? and Tawnya has a boyfriend...whaoo!!! He's cute Tawnya! Oh, and Heidi had a baby 6 months ago...I'm just a little behind! Somehow I heard about Jared's but not Heidi's.
Fun fun...so glad you made it back!
Wow what a fun trip and your dad looks like an excellent chef! That is so cute that the boys learned how to make pumpkin pies from him...good times ;) So fun to be around all the babies!
So much fun! I knew you had to have gone out of town since your blog had frozen in time! =) I love all the babies. You sure have a lot of boy cousins don't you? CUTIES!
I love seeing your family all grown up! So fun!
