One of the mom's asks, "So, are you crafty?" I hesitated. I mean, do YOU think I'm crafty? My sister, Heidi, is crafty. I'm trying to allow my craftiness to flow freely. Haha! "Well..." That was all I could say. But then I admitted that I don't have to actually be that "crafty person" when I can just look online and copy other crafter's awesome ideas. Actually it was just a great excuse to figure out how to do the projects I have had my eye on for a while now. Plus, vinyl letting is just fun stuff. My kind of crafting.
Our enrichment committee came up with 14 projects all together. I think it will be tough to decide between them. Here are some pictures of the projects I will be teaching:

Kari, you get credit for these ornaments...your monogrammed ones inspired me. :)

Here's a fun one for a teacher or visiting teaching gift:

This one I love. My cousin, Dixon Leavitt, is the artist and we will be applying vinyl lettering with the title.

You know, this is liberating for me. I think I actually CAN be crafty. So crafty. I never thought I could before. Funny. I'm already coming up with ideas for things I might tackle just for the fun of it. But not until Super Saturday has come and gone. I think I have my work cut out for me...

Those are way cute. I wish I could make one. Is there a way someone can make it for me and I pay them for the cost of the stuff?
So...my opinion is that I think you are very crafty...and I think the women in your ward are lucky to have such wonderful crafts to choose from! Wow!!!
So fun! You are crafty...you just put lots of time inbetween projects. Do you remember our cool Christmas cards we made together? I just found a stack of them, and I thought, "These are super cute!". I had so much fun making them with you.
I bought a BIG ONE of that painting, it is my favorite!!! I bought a ton of his art actually...Did I ever tell you that? LOVE!
:) Jeri, you've got me all figured out! That was fun, wasn't it? Hmmm...I need a Christmas card buddy this year...
...and yes, you told me you made a big order, but I had forgotten this was your favorite. I smile whenever I look at it.
Kayelynn,
These crafts look great. You mentioned sending me the super sat. info (I'll be in town for it - so depending on how much Gracie is letting me sleep at that point, I might be there!). I'd love to see all 14 crafts and possibly sign up for some. What a big event to be in charge of - they'd never let me be in charge of something that important! :)
Oh, good! I'll send you the file by email. :)
Love it. You are crafty! :) I love your spin on them. Good luck!!!
I need inspiration to be crafty -- your post did the trick. :)
I love the ornaments! I want to do that! Tell me how you did it, please?
Buy Craft glass ornaments from the craft store. The images are printed just like the vinyl lettering so many people have in their homes. Just stick them on the ornaments and tie a ribbon on top. Super easy and cute! If you decide you want to make some, I could get you in contact with my friend who made them for me.
