Tow Mater

I spent most of the afternoon yesterday getting our big ol' flat tire fixed! Luckily, we had just returned home from visiting Justin in the lunchroom at school for his birthday surprise when we noticed the completely flat tire. But I wimped out and called AAA to send someone to come put the spare tire on! :) The tow truck was a big hit with Ty! Totally worth driving over a big old bolt!

Here's the happy Ty Guy

And to think I was expecting a quiet afternoon full of laundry and dishes. Luckily for Tyler, he hit the jackpot and had an awesome afternoon! Tyler even got his own bag of popcorn at the tire shop! It just doesn't get better than that for a big four-year-old boy!

Justin and his homeboys!

One summer I spent fishing almost every day (Reg was in school), and I had 7 flats in one summer...driving to get to my honey hole! I am getting pretty good at changing a flat! Reg always said...how did you not see those huge sticks!

Funny! That's pretty impressive! Changing a tire might as well be rocket science to me! :) So do you take your boys fishing now?

I'm glad your boys found joy in a flat tire. That's a scenario I'd like to avoid. :) Remember our flat tire in Canada?

Funny, I had a flat tire about a month ago...and I too...had no idea what to do! My first instinct was to find a tire pump to pump up my tire (I forgot the whole idea of spare tires!) Luckily Dan came to the rescue and put on the spare. After watching it done once...it actually doesn't seem that hard...but I'm hoping I won't have to try out my tire changing skills anytime soon!
