Tyler and I went to feed the ducks this morning at our favorite library. We met several other moms and kids from our ward and had a good visit. I am in charge of planning mid-week activities for Relief Society. This was one of them. I am trying to come up with some other activity ideas for stay-at-home moms. So, if your ward has had any mid-weeks you have enjoyed, please pass it on.

Today was a project day. I love a guy who can build something...

And a little guy who tries to help...(and the mom who gets TRY to clean up those styrofoam crumbs for the rest of the afternoon!)

And here's something I love to see:

A sleeping boy at 10 p.m. surrounded by his work-of-art train track. Justin and Tyler are planning to meet at the tracks first thing in the morning. That makes me happy!
Now I get to watch Rachael Ray and blog while I wait for Travis to get home from playing basketball.

yeah for sleeping kids! Great midweek activity, what others have you done, we need HELP!
That is so fun! You are the best mom!
January was my first month to plan midweek activities. We did a playgroup that will rotate each week, cooking class, book club, kickboxing class and feeding the ducks this week. So far, so good. Once the weather warms up I would like to plan more daytime outings to the coast or into Portland. What have your wards been doing?
We have had a lot of good activities... we called a pizza place here in town and they let us come take a tour and make our own pizzas, we picked apples, bowling, Bean Musuem (you can see whats out there), Borders have a kids time, swimming, visiting the fire station, art time, well.. ya... thats plenty. :)
What a fun "Day in the Life...of Lynny!"
What a nice, cozy day! Glad you had fun! It's seriously the simple things. . .
I'm so sad I spaced it on the park. Isaac would have loved it! Glad you had a good time.
I find toys in my bed too! Funny! I have to say that Travis looks so skinny! Maybe all those sports huh?
