You can find anything for 25 cents!

I haven't posted in a long time...this is what I have been doing:

Looking for my earring in our Christmas tree!

Forget about looking for a needle in a haystack, have you ever tried to find an AWOL earring in a Christmas tree? I say next to impossible! I was trying to save time by putting on my earring while reaching around the tree to open the window blinds. Well, the earring went flying for dear life and I got to spend a silly amount of time searching in those pine needles. Days passed and I kept looking. (I know, this is a real nail clincher!)

I finally got smart tonight and told Justin that I would PAY him 25 cents if he could find my earring in the tree. Justin jumped at the chance and started looking. Travis immediately got down on his hands and knees and said "I'll find it for 25 cents!" The race was on and the winner is...ME! I got my earring back!

And the moral of this story is: If you pay them, they will find it! That's the ticket!

(Hey, maybe it will work for your wedding ring, Lisa?)

LOL! What a cute story. I love your tree BTW. I was thinking this year that it would be fun to wrap a ribbon around our tree, but wondered what it would actually look like as I have only seen it in cartoons. I have never seen anyone do it for real. Do you do it every year? It is pretty. I think I will go ahead a try it on my tree next year. Any tips? :)

As for the wedding ring, well, I lost mine in September thinking for sure it rolled out of the car while on our trip to Utah and I would never see it again. Two months later, and a whole lot of fiath, it showed up in the glove box which I checked TWICE. Go figure. Good luck Lisa.

Why didn't I think of that? I will try the $$ offer. I'll even up it to a $1! :)

And thanks, Kaylynn, for the encouraging story. I hope it happens for me, too.
