Travis captured this beautiful foggy day at our park.  I think he just loves this baseball field. :)

Pinewood Derby

Today was Justin's last Pinewood Derby for Cub Scouts.  Travis is the Cub Master in our ward and is doing a great job with the boys.  Justin chose to make a Minecraft cart for his derby car.  Tyler is looking forward to joining Cub Scouts later this year and joining the Pinewood Derby next time.

Sharing Time

My calling at church right now is 1st counselor in the primary presidency.  It has been such a fun calling especially since all three of my kids are in primary, too.  I have enjoyed teaching sharing time every three weeks and I think the boys like it when I am teaching.  Today, I taught about the Plan of Salvation.  Here's a picture of the "game" I set up on the chalkboard to explain to the kids about each stage in our eternal progression.

One thing I have done differently this time in the presidency is to make nicer copies of my visual aids so I can teach the lesson more than once.  Sharing time now and maybe family home evening or a primary class in the future.  I made folders to label the lesson topics and have placed them in my filing cabinet of gospel lesson ideas.

Gazing

There is never a dull moment watching the animals out our back windows at the park.  And I never get tired of watching my kids, either.  Just had to capture the moment.

Just Hanging Out

Today we are just "hanging out".  Sometimes that is our favorite thing to do.  Allie loves to draw with a pencil on paper, Tyler likes playing computer games and Justin loves to read in his favorite chair with a snack.  Oh, and I like to take pictures. :)  Here are some of my favorites from today:

One of the big kids now!

Tyler had his good friend, Jack Flynn, over to play today.  Allie had to get right in the middle of their battle.  I loved that the boys let her join in with them and have a sword fight.  So fun!
